Sunshine in Mink Valley

After two nights in a row of recording at the Mink Valley clubhouse and (maybe) 5 hours of sleep a night, I really should be napping but I’m just too excited! First of all, my band Mink Valley is getting closer to having our newest CD finished - last night we finished off vocal tracks for two more songs. You can hear rough mixes of them on our myspace site.

Also, I just got off the phone - reservations have been made at a 4 star hotel downtown for me and a friend - we both need some r and r and I owed her a birthday present from two years ago, so I used my travel points and got us a room! We have a long history of travel adventures together, particularly road trips. This weekend we are going to pretend that we are visitors to Vancouver instead. We’re not making any plans until after we’ve checked in to the hotel. I can hardly wait…
