Mashing It Up on StoryMash

So I literally stumbled upon a website called storymash where different people write chapters of stories in a collaborative process. In my own, “Why the heck not?” philosophy I immediately joined, found a story that inspired me, and submitted a chapter. It’s called ‘Hanging Clothes’ and is the second chapter in a story. The first chapter is called ‘The Closet’.

I’m interested to see what happens in the story next… the original author had tagged it as a ‘horror’ so I felt compelled to include a murder. In my haste to submit it (I wasn’t sure if only one person could send in the next chapter and didn’t want to lose my opportunity) I did a crap editing job which sucks because apparently you don’t get to go back and edit. 

I just looked at the statistics for my chapter and someone has already rated it low. Sigh. I hope it wasn’t the author of the first chapter! Yikes…
