Mink Valley is my band, and it’s been keeping me busy these days…

We have a new 5 song CD out (full length version to be released this fall).

New 5 Song CD
We played an outdoor festival last Sunday…
The city is closing down a few blocks on Main Street every Sunday for the rest of the Summer and we got to play the first Sunday in the series. It’s called Market 1866 and it was a lot of fun, right from the noise complaints that started before we could even get part way through the sound check song! Mink Valley is perhaps not the prettiest band in the daylight - Fred was up until 5:30am printing CDs, I’m super pregnant, and Jeremy is recovering from his broken elbow… The highlight for me was seeing my 2 year old daughter in the audience bopping her head along with the music - it’s the only time she’s seen me perform (I guess I need to get her some fake ID).

We’re Playing Pat’s Pub Saturday July 11th
We’re playing at Pat’s Pub this Saturday. A very last minute show (we weren’t sure when Jeremy would be up to drumming and strumming again) and the last chance to play before I have to take a doctor recommended break from loud rock n roll (August 1st is my cut off date - baby is due October 3rd - I’m planning to be back in the rehearsal space by November 1st.)

Last Gig Until At Least November
New T Shirts
We’ve had some shirts professionally screen printed - they’ll be at our show and then available online. I’ll post the link to the store when we have it…
We will be using our ‘unplugged’ time to issue the full-length version of our CD and promote Mink Valley. We’ll continue to workshop songs (at a lower volume, or acoustic) and may even record (since my amp is actually in another room when we do that). I have to say I’ll be happy to take a break because rehearsing and performing has been exhausting during this whole baby growing business (not just physically, but mentally). And I can hardly wait to go back to our Mink Valley clubhouse after the baby is here and enjoy a nice icy cold beer with my band mates!

OK. I joined your fan club on Facebook. Love, love, love the mink in the mirror graphic. Wish I could catch one of your shows. Maybe someday we’ll take a trip to your fair city. Hope you are feeling well at 7 months along.
Wow thanks! Our drummer did it, he’s a really great graphics guy -
Who cares what you look like as long as the music is good. And it sounds like it is terrific.
And I wanted to thank you so much for your comment on my blog about the kittens. Appreciate you leaving a comment.
Having good content can only get you so far unless you also provide a good atmosphere to comment in
