Okay forgive the horrible pun that I actually stole from our local music store (or at least they used to sell all of their bass gear in the basement before they moved…).
This site is going to start showing American Music Supply links so I thought I’d use the opportunity to introduced my own gear in case anyone out there is nosey enough to care…
Here’s the speaker cabinet I play through - it’s a one fifteen which means it has one fifteen inch speaker inside it. I bought this at a music store on an installment plan.

And here is the amp that I play through, when it’s working, except mine is missing the front grill and is a heck of a lot older. I bought it off my good friend for $250 almost a decade ago…

And here is what one of my basses looks like. Kind of… except mine has the frets sanded off and a red maple pick guard, and the paint is rubbed off all over the place. It probably also has pieces of my fingers attached to it since I only clean it about every 5 years (yuck, I know, but I am busy). My version doesn’t have a volume know or a tone knob anymore - they always crapped out so I finally got fed up and just removed them. An old friend lent me this bass when we starting a band together and I had it for so long that he just sort of let me keep it… After years of stubbornly playing this one even though it has some problems, I finally caved in and now I play a newer Fender Precision (with frets) … This original fender will always be my one and only bass in my heart, and I will be using it one some extra tracks in the songs we are recording right now. Awwwwww…

That’s all I have time for today because my little girl just woke up from her nap…
