In the meantime, developers are tearing down old bungalows and postwar homes and replacing them with giant stucco monstrosities – often peach or brown, and always hideous. There should be a limit to how many similar houses you can put on one street – it should be part of the building permit application…
…unless it is the blueprint for a Vancouver special, of course -
